The Groupement des Entreprises du Plateau de Signes (GEPS) has obtained ISO
14001 certification (Level 1) for the Signes Business Park… the first time a
business organisation-led project has pulled this off in France!
Objectives: to raise awareness, encourage, represent the Business Park companies, pool their resources to maintain and improve the quality of life and environmental friendliness.
This innovative approach is based on the mapping of the main business-induced environmental impact factors such as materials storage, the machinery installed, etc.
The environmental remedial and preventative work already undertaken by the GEPS will be continued, drawing on data provided by the twice-yearly map updates.

Les Petits Chaperons Rouges crèche has now been open for a year inSignes and looks after 64 children in a safe, high-quality setting. The familiesare charged the same fee as they would be by a local authority establishment. Thereare still places available for reservation by firms on the Park seeking to setup an attractive human resources policy. presentation of the Signes Business Park, its bustling activity, the quality of
its services offer and environment, its guiding principles and the potential of

The Signes-en-Provence Business Park is designed and marketed by the Var Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the French Government and the local authorities (inter-communal community authority, communities, department and region). As a result it can offer keen prices and suitable financial aid.
Competitive pricing
The price is €50 per sqm excl. of taxes. The Single Business Rate applied in the Community of Communes is particularly low (12.81%).
A bespoke property offer
Building plots are available from minimum area 5 000 sqm to tens of hectares.
The plots have utilities laid on... sewage, LV/MV electricity, water, natural gas, and very high-speed telecoms (fibre optics).

Financial help in different forms
They are awarded after examination of the application provided eligibility criteria are fulfilled.

- 1/ Tax exemptions: the Regional Development Aid (AFR), Young Innovative Entreprise (JEI), Research Tax Credit (CIR) schemes all subject to eligibility criteria.
- 2/ Financing aid: Regional aid, aid from the Var, OSEO aid subject to eligibility criteria.
- 3/ Help with hiring: a number of French government employment incentive schemes: Fillon reduction scheme, help with hiring for very SMEs, Contrat Initiative Embauche (CIE), Contrat Insertion-Revenu Minimum d’Activité (CI-RAM)
